There’s nothing that science fiction fans like to do more than arguing about the great question….what IS science fiction? Many have tried to answer the question over the decades. Some call science fiction genre fiction – WRONG. Others believe science fiction is only the extrapolation of science – WRONG. For a rigorous definition that does useful work we have to go deeper.
