We don’t love to hate the Roys.

We like the Roys.

Because the Roys are like us.

“There is no line. Everything everywhere is always moving, forever. Get used to it.” HBO’s hit show Succession reveals its thematic heart with this line from Logan Roy in episode 4 of season three. Which answers the question that every viewer of Succession is asking themselves — why do we like the Roys?
