Not Asimov – season 2

After too many years having these discussions on scifi forums, I long ago realised that, however bad a scifi tv show might be, someone will pop-up and say “well I quite liked it actually”.

So as season 2 of Not Asimov lumbers towards our screens, and as a time saving measure, I have collated the most common arguments made in defence of the show and have fully countered and DISMISSED all of them.

  1. Foundation is badly written
  2. They had to dumb down Asimov for a mass audience
  3. It had to be adapted
  4. It’s fine if you ignore that it’s Foundation
  5. It needed more action
  6. The Asimov estate is onboard
  7. Asimov fans just be angry
  8. You’re just gatekeeping
  9. I’m entitled to my opinion
  10. I thought it was OK

You’re welcome.
