Superman is Apollo reborn. A literal sun god.
Neo is Hades rising. Lord of the underworld.
Icons are iconic OF something. And while Superman may still be more famous…although I think that’s a close call…I think Neo is the spirit of our age.
An era of paranoia and suspicion.
Neo is a gnostic icon. He stands for the belief that so many people feel today. That there is some invisible dark god creating the illusion we’re caught up in.
Or just another CIA psyop, corporate conspiracy or AI generated Matrix.
Neo is for the man who has been Red Pilled.
Supes is the Blue Pill.
